Intended Use
For pre-enriching salmonella spp and using in the presumptive test for members of the coliform group in water, milk and other material.
Principle and Interpretation
Peptone and beef extract powder provides carbon, nitrogen, vitamins, growth factors; lactose as fermentable sugars.

Preparation
Suspend 13g, add in 1L of distilled water ,autoclave at 121℃ for 15 minutes.

Cultural characteristics observed after incubation at 35-37°C for 24 hours

Storage and Shelf Life

Waste Disposal
Microbiological contamination was disposed by autoclaving at 121°C for 30 minutes.
