For the cultivation of various fastidious, pathogenic microorganisms including yeasts and molds.
Principle and Interpretation
Peptone and Dehydrated calf brain infusion and Dehydrated beef heart infusion provide nitrogen sources, vitamins, and growth factors; Glucose can provide energy for various bacteria; Sodium chloride maintains a balanced osmotic pressure; Sodium dihydrogen phosphate as a buffering agent.

*Equivalent to calf brain, infusion from 200g, ** Equivalent to beef heart, Infusion from 250g.
Preparation
Dissolve 37 g in 1 liter distilled water. Sterilize by autoclaving at 121°C for 15 minutes.

Cultural characteristics observed after incubation at 35-37°C for 24hours

Storage and Shelf Life

Waste Disposal
Microbiological contamination was disposed by autoclaving at 121°C for 30 minutes.
