Principle and Interpretation
Tryptone serves as the primary source of carbon and nitrogen, sodium chloride at elevated concentrations selectively suppresses non-halotolerant microorganisms, and agar provides structural support by solidifying the medium.
Formulation
Preparation
Weigh 35.0 g of this product, add 1 L of distilled water or deionized water, stir and heat to boil until completely dissolved. Then cool it to around 50 °C, pour it into plates, and set aside for use after solidification.
Quality Control
Cultural characteristics observed after incubation at 35-37°C for 12-18 hours
Storage and Shelf Life
2-30°C, keep container tightly closed, avoid direct sunlight. Use before expiry date on the label.
